Looking back at the year, we have passed many milestones that we never imagined we could accomplish in the first year. In July, we made the cover of Today's Medical Developments magazine featuring our state of the art Delcam software and quality product. We are so pleased with the software that we have recently signed on to become a Delcam Crispin Orthomodel software reseller. Please visit our press room to read the cover article. Mile High has also formed a partnership with Biosculptor. Biosculptor offers a hand held laser scanner called Bioscanner. This scanner can be used to scan from head to toe, parts of the body to be sent to labs for production of all types of Orthopedic products. As part of Biosculptor and their NOPLASTER.com website, Military facilities, government and O&P facilities all across the country scan their patients with their Bioscanner and upload the STL file to our link on NOPLASTER.com. We then manufacture the devices and send them back to the facility that has requested the product. Mile High also offers two different types of orthotic scanners. The first is a static and dynamic 3D foot pressure mapping system called 3DO. The second scanner is the TOM CAT scanner which offers non weight bearing scans of the foot. Both scanners can help practices save time and mess associated with plaster casts. It also decreases turnaround time so the patient can enjoy the benefits of the orthotics much sooner.
